Calling all photographers!
I've posted some of my favorite photos from our week at camp, but I know they're not the only ones that have captured our wonderful memories! If you have photos you would like to share, please submit them to me on a flash drive or SD card, and I'll upload them to our slide show! I am specifically looking for photos from your creek and redwood hikes and activities I may have missed (I can only be in one place at a time!) Thanks!
Our Week at Caritas Creek . . .
![Picture](/uploads/1/3/6/8/13684081/7776356.jpg)
Our week at Caritas Creek was a memorable one that will stay with us throughout the 8th grade year ... and throughout out lives. We will remember the friendships made with our camping buddies from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Redwood City and St. Phillip Neri in Alameda. We will fondly remember the bonds we made with friends in our cabins and in our hiking groups and meal groups. We will especially remember the incredible experiences we had together as a class during our class meeting and during our class serendipities.
We'll remember who was the muddiest after ga-ga ball, who hit the bull's eye in archery, and who made the prettiest bracelets in arts and crafts. We'll remember the flash mob that D'Bo taught the campers who chose his dance class!
We'll remember how delicious the pizza was at our picnic at Bodega Bay on Wednesday, and we'll teach our friends and family the llama song and our hiking group "code" names!
The philosophy at Caritas Creek is to learn how we are one with nature and one with each other as God intended.
We have vowed to bring back the Caritas spirit and share it with everyone at home -- our siblings and parents, our schoolmates, and everyone in our lives.

Class of 2014 Health Forms
Students have received a packet of information and forms that must be turned in. If your student takes medications on a regular basis or has any health issues, please let me know so we can prepare and care for your child while he/she is with us at Caritas.
ALL information on the health forms must be completed, including a current immunization record. Remember that all requested information for camp is to keep your child safe and healthy! Thank you for your cooperation. Packing List
Click on the button below for a link to the packing list for campers. We are attending Caritas in the late fall; the weather tends to be cool in the mornings and evenings, yet bright and comfortable during the day. Pack for layering. Remember enough socks, and please bring a hat and gloves!
Your personal items will get muddy, dirty, and wet. Please do not shop for brand-new clothing for this trip! Bring items that you won't mind staining, or tossing when you get home! The best gear you can bring is a good pair of hiking boot/shoes with excellent traction. It's recommended that you bring at least two pair of shoes, plus slippers for the cabin, and flip-flops or shower shoes for bathing. |
